9 November - the World Quality Day

9 November, World Quality Day traditionally takes place. For the first time it was celebrated in 1989, and since then it has become a tradition on the second Thursday of November to congratulate employees of the relevant services on the professional holiday.

For the last five years at the Poltava Automobile Units Plant in the field of improving the quality of products, as well as in the processes of the company's quality management system.

Undoubtedly, the most important and significant achievement is the receipt of the international ISO / TS 16949: 2009 certificate and actively preparing for the transition to the new IATF 16949 standard.

This stage was preceded by a significant amount of work, which lasted for several years, aimed at improving the processes of the management system in the enterprise.

Within the framework of the project to implement the Quality Management System in accordance with ISO / TS 16949: 2009, the training "Basic requirements of ISO / TS 16949: 2009 for the QMS of the automotive industry" and training of the APQP team. The training program included the basics of project management and in-depth study of APQP stages and tools. All practical exercises were conducted using real projects of the enterprise. As a result, a block diagram of the design and DFMEA, process flowcharts, PFMEA and Management Plans were developed. In addition, trainings were also held - "Features of SPC and MSA application", "Basic requirements for the audit of the integrated management system in accordance with ISO / TS 16949: 2009" and training on "Lean manufacturing".

Audit and evaluation of the documentation of all 17 processes of PAO PAAZ, including audit of production processes, Quality management systems that preceded the certification were carried out by independent auditors DEKRA, during which the focus was not only to improve the quality of the company's employees, but also to take into account all wishes and requirements consumers.

The mission of the company clearly defines the priorities and socially responsible role that the company takes on: "Providing high-quality and safe production of vehicle manufacturers and consumers among the population, contributing to the improvement of life safety". And, of course, the enterprise is carrying out many activities aimed at unconditionally achieving these goals.

"Every day thousands of lives depend on us," - with such a motto at the Poltava Automobile Units Plant, projects on quality management are successfully developing at all stages.

Among the domestic enterprises of the automotive industry, the Poltava Automobile Units Plant has one of the highest indices for the level of customer satisfaction by the cumulative estimate, which is 4.83 points on a 5-point scale.
