November 14 – World Quality Day

November 14th is traditionally World Quality Day. It was first celebrated in 1989, and since then it has become a tradition on the second Thursday of November to congratulate employees of the relevant services on their professional holiday.

In recent years, much has been done at the Poltava Automobile Unit Plant in the area of improving product quality, as well as in the processes of the enterprise’s quality management system.

Of course, the most important and significant achievement of recent years is the receipt of an international certificate that complies with the new IATF 16949 standard.

This stage was preceded by a significant amount of work that lasted for several years, aimed at improving the processes of the management system at the enterprise.

As part of the project to implement the Quality Management System in accordance with IATF 16949, numerous education and training sessions were conducted, including training for the APQP team. The training program included the basics of project management and an in-depth study of APQP stages and tools. All practical classes were conducted using real enterprise projects. As a result, Design Flow Chart and DFMEA, Process Flow Charts, PFMEA and Management Plans were developed. In addition, trainings were also conducted – ‘Features of using SPC and MSA’ and training on the topic ‘Lean Manufacturing’.

The verification and assessment of the documentation of all processes of the Poltava Automobile Unit Plant, including the audit of production processes, the quality management system that preceded the receipt of the certificate, was carried out by independent European auditors, during which the focus of the company’s employees was noted not only to improve quality, but also to take into account all wishes and consumer requirements.

The mission of the enterprise clearly defines the priorities and socially responsible role that the enterprise assumes: “Providing high-quality and safe products to vehicle manufacturers and consumers among the population, helping to improve life safety.” And, of course, the company carries out many activities aimed at unconditionally achieving these goals.

“Every day, thousands of lives depend on us,” with this motto at the the Poltava Automobile Unit Plant, quality management projects are successfully developing at all stages.

Testing laboratory. Monthly periodic testing of products is the key to quality products

Poltava Automobile Unit Plant pays great attention to issues of quality and product improvement. But, at the same time, it must be remembered that pneumatic brake equipment is a technologically complex structure that requires appropriate knowledge, qualifications, specific ultra-precise equipment and highly qualified personnel for its production.

Therefore, the plant has its own laboratory for testing brake equipment, accredited by the State Standard of Ukraine for the right to conduct certification tests, at the stands of which the quality of manufactured devices is constantly monitored.

Thus, in October, tests were successfully carried out on the pressure control valve 11.3122009-02, accelerator valves 11.3518010/-10, wheeled valve 255B-4224110 B, valves with a single-line drive 100-3522110/-10, as well as consumer goods products manufactured by the enterprise – juicers SB-1-000.

All of the listed devices received a positive assessment during periodic control tests, which confirms the reliability and guarantee of high quality products along with the high efficiency of the technologies used in production.

Dear road transport workers!

On behalf of the team and management of the Poltava Automotive Aggregate Plant, we cordially congratulate you on your professional holiday – Road Transport Workers Day!

This holiday is another reason for us to express words of gratitude to the huge army of drivers, mechanics, road service teams, road builders – representatives of real masculine professions. It is impossible to overestimate the importance of motor transport in the economy and life support system of our city and country.

The level of development of the automobile and road complex is one of the criteria for the power and prosperity of the state. The strengthening of political and economic ties between regions of any country depends on the degree of efficiency of road transport.

Every day, in any weather, thousands of “steel horses” ply along the roads of Ukraine and many other countries, carrying passengers and cargo.

And all this is thanks to your high professionalism and love for your work, because the most important wealth of the automotive industry is still the work teams of road workers and transport workers.

Dear motorists! We express our words of admiration and gratitude to all drivers who fully demonstrate their knowledge, skills and professionalism, ensuring the uninterrupted rhythm of our lives. We wish you and your families good health, prosperity and all the blessings of life on this holiday.

Good luck in your noble creative work!
